If you’re looking for Blackstone apartments, don’t expect to see a lot of large complexes—most of the apartments here are located inside large Blackstone homes that have been divided into rental units. Many of these apartments are located near the Blackstone River, giving residents spectacular views and easy access to the small cluster of shops and restaurants on Main Street.
If you’re looking for a Blackstone house, you’ll find that a significant number of the available Town Center properties are located between Lincoln Street and the Blackstone River. Many of these houses are built on large, wooded lots and offer plenty of privacy and quiet.
Just across Blackstone Street, the East Blackstone neighborhood begins. This neighborhood was developed more recently than the Town Center, and the housing stock here reflects that. Most of the Blackstone homes for sale here are newer and have been custom designed Colonials or Capes. Currently, much of the development in this part of town is taking place in the upscale Sycamore Parks Estate subdivision, located along Elm Street.
You won’t find very many Blackstone apartments in this neighborhood, but as in the Town Center, those that are available are typically units in large houses that have been divided into two, three, or four units.

When you start looking for a Blackstone home, many of the properties you’ll see are classic New England Colonial houses. Due to the town’s small population and rural setting, homebuilders have been able to spread out, and most residents have large lots, mature trees for privacy, and plenty of space between neighbors.
