The History of Belmont

Belmont Hill Neighborhood

Most people, when thinking about Belmont real estate, instantly think about the Belmont Hill neighborhood with its large mansions. These homes run into the millions and the majority of the Belmont population lives below the hill.

Cushing Square Neighborhood

Cushing Square is the perfect place for the people who are looking for a nice and quiet suburb with spacious Tudor homes and a commercial center nearby. The average price of a Belmont house in this neighborhood is $721,000, and the majority of the residents work in the education field.

Belmont Homes for Sale in the Habitat Neighborhood

Interestingly, the majority of the residents of this neighborhood are working in the field of management or sales and other office occupations. These Belmont homes are built in Colonial, Victorian and Tudor styles have an average price of $712,000, while the median household income of the residents is of about $118,000.

Rock Meadow Neighborhood

The majority of the Belmont properties in the Rock Meadow neighborhood were built in the Colonial style for people who can afford them at the median price of $736,000. Most residents are working in management and healthcare.

Waverly Square Neighborhood

Waverly Square is one of the commercial centers of the town, and here you can find Dutch Colonial houses, Colonial styles and Tudor homes. A Belmont house in this neighborhood is a great choice financially. It may not be as fancy as your average Belmont neighborhood, but it’s safe, well-priced, and has a good school district. Most residents work in sales, office and service occupations.
